The Atkin Report- GBK Production's "Golden Affair"

" Aptly titled “A Golden Affair,” GBK Productions celebrated the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards in a glitzy two-day luxury lounge held January 5-6 at the Montage Beverly Hills.

In keeping with the theme, it was all about the gold as celebrities, VIPs and tastemakers were gifted with golden items, beginning as they entered the private event, when guests were handed a flute of Blue Nun 24K Edition, a sparkling wine flecked with gold flakes from the noted German winemaker, which sponsored the lounge. The wine comes in a box shaped like a bar of gold and the company had a stunning display of them stacked sky-high.

Among the attendees were Randy Jackson, Dinah James (Fifth Harmony), Doug Jones (Nominated Movie: Shape of Water), Lotte Verbeek (“Outlander”, “Blacklist”), Mara Wilson (“Matilda”) Teala Dunn (“Guilty Party”), Zack Ward (“transformers”, “A Christmas Story”), Shanola Hampton (“Shameless”) Ashley LeConte (Nominated Movie: “Get Out”), Asia Monet Ray (Actress/Digital Inluencer), Anthony Anderson (Nominated Show: “Black-ish”) Pollyanna McIntosh (“The Walking Dead”) and Sam Humphrey (Nominated: “The Greatest Showman).

About 40 other brands participated in the festive soirée.

The Artisan Group – a collection of artists from all over the country– is always a favorite with GBK guests. This year, there were eclectic, handmade designs from jewelry makers including VyBrant Accessories, CY Design Studio, Designed by Stacey, Mojo Owl and Dakota Designs Studio along with unique and customizable stationery and cards from Zazzle and BeezKneezDesigns, spa and bath products, cosmetics, candles and other handmade items.
